MENS CLUB

Competing in the Ulster Premier League and EYHL2 our 1st XI represents the pinnacle of men's hockey at the club. The 1st XI regularly competes against the island's best players and teams, and in recent history has had lots of success. As the 1st XI, they set the competitive standard for the rest of the club and act as role models for younger players coming through the ranks. 

Our 2nd XI serves as a crucial platform for developing talent, competing in Junior 1. Many young and emerging players gain valuable experience here before pushing for 1st XI selection. The 2nd XI balances competitiveness with player development ensuring talent within the club is showcased.

The 3rd XI competes in Junior 2, offering a competitive environment for players to develop their game and gain experience. As recent as the 24/25 season, the 3rd XI won the Junior 3 League title and reached 2 Cup finals showing the team can perform at high levels while giving young players a chance.

Our 4th XI provides an opportunity for players to enjoy competitive hockey in a more relaxed setting. Competing in Junior 4, results are still important as the 4ths aim to bridge the gap to the 3rds. The team prioritises enjoyement while maintaining the clubs strong winning mentality. 

The 5th XI is ideal for those new to the sport or returning after a break, offering a friendly and supportive environment to develop skills and enjoy the game. Competing in Junior 6 the team focuses on learning, development and building confidence. This is where the basics are learnt, making the 5th XI an important part of the club's structure.
