Men’s Section – Fixtures, Teams & News

At South Antrim Hockey Club, we proudly field five men's teams, each offering competitive hockey opportunities across various levels. Our home games are held at Friends' School Lisburn, providing excellent facilities for both players and supporters.

1st XI

Competing in the Ulster Premier League, our 1st XI represents the pinnacle of men's hockey at the club. The team has a rich history of success, including winning the Linden Cup in consecutive seasons and achieving their highest league position by finishing 3rd in Senior 1.

2nd XI

Our 2nd XI serves as a crucial platform for developing talent, competing in Junior 2. The team provides players with the opportunity to hone their skills and push for selection to the 1st XI.

3rd XI

The 3rd XI competes in Junior 3, offering a competitive environment for players to enjoy hockey and develop their game. The team has demonstrated strong performances, including winning the Junior 4 title after a nail-biting game against Mossley 4ths.

4th XI

Our 4th XI provides an opportunity for players to enjoy competitive hockey in a more relaxed setting. The team focuses on fostering a love for the game and encouraging participation at all levels.

5th XI

The 5th XI is ideal for those new to the sport or returning after a break, offering a friendly and supportive environment to develop skills and enjoy the game.
