CLUB DINNER ROUND UP:
Firstly, the club would like to thank Dunmurry Golf Club for the wonderful food and putting up with us. Also a big shout out to Willy Redpath Jnr who organised the night.
Enough though the season hasn't quite ended for a number of our teams, several awards were given out last night. Those awards that were not given out are to be presented at the AGM later this month.

Congratulations to our Ladies Club who have just formed a 3rds!
The girls will take the place of Lisnagarvey 5ths, who folded, in Junior 7, alongside the Ladies 2s. Their first game is this Saturday and its against our 2nds no less! Carol Redpath has been appointed captain for the debut season.
Irish Senior Cup
The Mens 1sts have drawn Pembroke Wanderers away in the last 16 of the Irish Senior Cup. Match is scheduled for 28th November.

Well done to Friends' 1st XI boys who today defeated Campbell College 3-1 in their Irish Schoolboy Championship qualifier. Two goals from Niall Magee and an absolute rocket from our very own James Brown were enough to see the boys home after falling 1-0 behind.
Training for the 3rds to 5ths will move to Friends' School Lisburn on Tues 1st Sept. This will be on the pitches from 6.30-8. Two weeks till the season starts, make sure you're ready.
