South Antrim ladies first fundraising night was held on Friday 28th October in Robbie Cahoon’s bar and restaurant (101 Queensway, Lisburn, County Antrim BT27 4QS) to celebrate Halloween. Fancy dress, prize for best dressed, raffle and Halloween drinking games were part of the night. The event was a success with a high turnout from the ladies section present and proceeds generated for the club to fund such things as pitch time and kit.

The next event that took place was the pub quiz on 12th November at Lisburn Racquets club and was a joint event with the mens section from 7:30pm. The night was a huge success with significant proceeds raised for both sections of the club. Other events on the horizon include speed dating at the end of January for Valentine ’s Day, ST Patrick’s day and a family fun day in Easter (places, dates and time still to be arranged).
